Vendor Hall Info

The Vendor Hall will be at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in the 40,000 square foot Event Center.  Since the event is the National Garden Railway Convention for 2021, there will be a heavy focus on large scale trains.  However, all types of trains are important to the area so marketing has already begun for an all-scales train show. (Extensive marketing for the event is shown below the schedule.)

Marketing for the show
Marketing includes more than any previous NGRC event! Our marketing budget includes...

  • Multiple TV commercial packages announcing the show to Middle Tennessee residents including major networks like 2 (ABC), 4 (NBC), 5 (CBS) and Fox - among other stations.
  • Multiple magazine ads including Garden Railways Magazine. (Four half page ads and two full page ads so far.)
  • Purchase of email list for the highly successful yearly Nashville Area Christmas Train Show.  (This list will receive email blasts about the show.)
  • Posters placed in strategic locations around the city including local hobby and train stores.
  • Numerous events and other public train shows with NGRS club members sharing information and giving presentations about the Nashville Summer Train Show.  These include...

    • Rocky Mountain Train Show (Denver Area Spring show.)

More Vendor Hall Info

Two sectional roll-up doors are located at the back of the hall and will be used for entrance and exit of vehicles and trailers during set-up and tear-down. Typical pipe and drape will be provided by an outside vendor for each 10' x 10' booth space. 

We have done our best to keep costs down in order to lower prices for booths.  You will find that NGRC 2021 Nashville has the lowest priced booth space in years.  Marketing and a few perks are also already being planned to help drive traffic to the Vendor Hall in order to help you have a profitable show.

Ice Cream Social - Kickoff

The Nashville convention committee understands the demands of a trade show so the decision was made to kick off the show by driving convention goers to the Vendor Hall.  An Ice Cream Social is a common event at NGRC conventions.  However, the NGRC 2021 Nashville Committee has planned the Ice Cream Social right in front of the Opryland Event Center, right before the Vendor Hall opens for the private show for convention attenders.

We believe you will find attending the Ice Cream Social to be beneficial, and that we have done our best to bring convention goers to you!

 

All-Scales Train Show is Open to the Public

We expect the Train Show will include the biggest manufacturers, vendors and of course plenty of layouts to see. However, because Nashville is a BIG thing… the Vendor Hall will house an All-Scale Train Show with the Friday and Saturday show times open to the public.

NGRC 2021 attendees will have private access to the vendor hall and manufacturers on Thursday June 3rd, 2021 from 2-6pm.

Friday June 4th, 2021 the All-Scale Train Show opens to the public from 8am-6pm.

Saturday June 5th, 2021 the All-Scale Train Show opens to the public from 8am-2pm.  Tear-down begins just after 2pm.
